Dogem Glass

Emma is a local glass artist making items using a process called glass fusion. The glass is cut to the desired layout and then fired in a kiln for 12 hours. Some projects are then slumped or draped over a mould to create a shape for a second firing, the kiln fires between 700°c and 800°c. Emma finds inspiration from the local landscape and changing seasons.
